The Virginia Production Alliance listserve is a way for members to email messages of interest to ALL listserve subscribers, and to receive email from them in return. Via the listserve, you can share information about available jobs, industry events, and important issues, or simply get answers to questions about your work and creative endeavors.

Please check your email for a subscription confirmation request from the NPOGroups List Manager. You will not be subscribed until you confirm by replying to that message. You will ultimately receive a password which will give you access to your account at http://lists.filmva.com.

 

Listserve Posting Instructions

IMPORTANT! To post a listing that goes out to all the subscribers (thousands!) you MUST follow these guidelines:

When sending out a post to the Virginia Production Alliance list-server, make sure you add the area of the posting/event in the subject line and make it very factual : PLACE, <very factual descriptive subject line>  if it's paid gig or not or if there is a cost to an event or not.

For example:
RICHMOND- Crew Call for all Key Positions on 60 Minute TV Pilot, Paid
or
CHARLOTTESVILLE- Open Call for Actors for a 10 Minute Web Series, Unpaid
or
VIRGINIA- Please E-mail Your Local Representative about How You Love the VPA and the Film office.
or
ALEXANDRIA- Casting Call for National SAG Commercial, Paid
or
Hampton Roads- Full Time Producer Needed for Local TV Station, Paid
